School of Management, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is organizing Two Days National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on &ldquo;Basics of Structure Equation Modeling using AMOS&rdquo; during April 6-7, 2023.
 Objective of this FDP is to give brief and straight forward descriptions to gain understanding about the concepts of structural equation modeling (SEM) and their use in research. It focuses on how to build research models using structural equation modeling (SEM) and testing the model using AMOS software. &nbsp;The FDP will help the participants by having hands-on practice that will develop an understanding of the way structure equation &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; modeling works.

The FDP will focus on following contents:

Day 1: Introduction of &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; AMOS software, confirmatory factor analysis, checking validity and reliability of scale, higher order confirmatory factor analysis
Day 2: Introduction to structure equation modeling, validating measurement model, handling model fit, path analysis, mediation, direct and indirect effects, multi-group analysis

According to the latest media update by India TV, "Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani, who is also the President of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), addressed the students at the 11th convocation ceremony of the institute and said that energy transition has become the most critical factor in ensuring India&rsquo;s transformation into a global leader in green, sustainable and inclusive development adding PDEU is at the forefront of education and research in this area. Welcoming the chief guest, ISRO Director S Somanath, Mukesh Ambani said, "You are truly an inspiration not just to the students of PDEU, but also to millions of bright young minds across India. Commemorating the establishment of SoM-PDEU, students put together an entertaining lineup of performances at the "Foundation Day" event hosted by the Cultural Committee. The celebrations, in the presence of esteemed faculty members, comprised several energetic dance routines and students showcasing their vocal talent.
The most admirable performance was delivered by our professor Dr. Asit Acharya, who deicated a mellifluous piece to our late student Raghukul Raj Shailesh.
The event continued with rousing instrumental gigs that set the festive mood, and dance sequences had everyone clapping and cheering. In the end, the Core Committee unveiled a series of upcoming events to whip up a fervour. The foundation day concluded with SoM's tradition of cake cutting.

The aim of the School is "to prepare management graduates for continuous learning and inspiring them to contribute to the growth of an increasingly knowledge and technology driven global businesses in general and energy &amp; infrastructure sector in specific".

SoM offers MBA programs (approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi) which is a two-year full-time residential programme. SoM also offers an Executive MBA Programme (E-MBA) for working executives in hybrid mode, a PhD programme (full-time and part-time) and Management Development Programmes.

The Business Analytics Teaching Lab @ SPM has been created to provide the SPM students with an environment for learning Business Analytics and Decision Making. Managers in organizations make informed business decisions using information from varied sources for effective analytical outcomes.

School of Management (formerly School of Petrolem Management) is among Top 100 Management Institutes as per NIRF Rankings. It offers two-year full-time residential MBA programmes in Energy and Infrastructure Management and General Management with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations Management and minor in Business Analytics. In addition, SoM offers Executive MBA for working executives in hybrid mode, Ph.D. programme (full-time and part-time) and Management Development Programmes.

This trimester system MBA programme includes eight weeks of compulsory summer training for the students. It also includes field visits, independent study courses and constant interaction with industry personnel to prepare industry ready professionals. It has Business Analytics Teaching Lab which provides students with knowledge and skills that empower them in tackling business problems using appropriate data analytics.
